Remember the bloody sock game? It’s how Curt Schilling solidified his status as one the best pitchers in MLB postseason history, and also the game that won him a place in Boston Red Sox fans’ hearts. But not everyone bought that Schilling’s surgically repaired ankle was really bleeding through his sock. He must have put ketchup on it, the naysayers said.

Well, over 10 years later, Schilling has put that conspiracy theory to bed.
