While the turkey is digesting in your stomach, the GM of major league baseball are hard at work. With many quality free agents still out there for the taking, everyone is trying to improve their team in whatever way they can. Here are predictions for where the top 10 remaining free agents will land.

After spending the first nine years of his career as a vital role player for the Orioles, it's hard to imagine the two sides not getting a deal done. Obviously if he gets an offer from another team that blows him away, he will take it, but it's safe to say that both sides are going to try their best to keep him in Baltimore.

If the Astros make a big splash this offseason, it will be on Robertson. He's an established closer who could give them stability in the back end of the bullpen. He's reportedly looking for four years and $52 million, which the Astros could give him if they decide he's their long-term closer of the future.

After losing Pablo Sandoval, the Giants are a bit desperate to find a third baseman. Headley could fit what they're looking for and he figures to be cheaper than Sandoval. Although he's only had one great season, Headley has shown to be a game-changer in a lineup.

7. LHP Francisco Liriano - Pittsburgh Pirates

Most people within the game believe that signing Liriano is the Pirates' No. 1 priority this offseason. If it truly is, they should be able to get a deal done. He has resurrected his career in Pittsburgh and both sides should be able to get a deal worked out sooner rather than later.

6. RHP Ervin Santana - Kansas City Royals

The Royals will almost surely lose ace James Shields this offseason, so they will need some help in the rotation. Santana, who has already pitched successfully for the team in the past, would be a perfect fit. He has familiarity with the team, still has a few years left in the tank, and should be considerably cheaper than Shields.

After staying quiet on the subject for a while, it appears the Blue Jays will aggressively try to retain Cabrera. If them signing Russell Martin to an $82 million deal is any indication, they're willing to spend big money in order to improve the team for 2015.

4. OF Nelson Cruz - Seattle Mariners

The Mariners need a right-handed hitting outfielder, and adding Cruz wouldn't require giving up any prospects, unlike what some trades would cost them. He's looking for a multi-year deal, so they're going to have to commit long-term, but to land the 2014 MLB home run leader, they could decide it's worth it.

3. RHP James Shields - Miami Marlins

Shields is one of the top starters on the market this offseason, and the Marlins have ramped up their pursuit of him. Since signing Giancarlo Stanton to his mega-extension, the team has tried to prove they will spend money to be competitive. It seems like Shields could be the player to make them put their money where their mouth is.

2. LHP Jon Lester - Boston Red Sox

The Red Sox just keep coming up with money this offseason, and their last major move may be to sign their former ace. As of right now, he has a reported $135 million offer over six years from the Cubs, which is worth more than any Red Sox offer thus far. However, if he can get the Red Sox to match that figure, he's a good bet to return home to Boston.

1. RHP Max Scherzer - New York Yankees

The Yankees had stayed quiet this offseason until rumors surfaced that they're going to push for the top pitcher on the free agent market. Normally, when they like a player enough, they will pay whatever price it takes to land him. If they're truly as interested in Scherzer as it seems like they are, he could be wearing the pinstripes next season.
