In order to become successful in professional sports, you have to take some risks. That's what several MLB teams will have to do this offseason in order to become competitive in 2015. Here are five trades that could actually benefit both teams in the deal that not enough people are talking about.

Team: Nationals, Angels

The Nationals are in need of middle infielders and the Angels need starting pitching, so this deal makes perfect sense. Since both players will be hitting free agency next offseason anyway, their new teams could potentially work out a contract extension.

Teams: Tigers, Red Sox

Porcello will likely be out of Detroit after the season anyway, so dealing him makes sense for the Tigers. They're interested in acquiring Cespedes and the Red Sox are reportedly interested in netting Porcello in return. Boston desperately needs starting pitching, so adding Porcello would go a long way towards rebuilding the rotation.

In any trade, the Red Sox are going to be trying to get starting pitching in return for Cespedes. Latos is one of the better pitchers that figures to be available on the trade market. In need of another outfielder, the Reds would love to bring over Cespedes from Boston.

Teams: Dodgers, Mariners

The Mariners need a right-handed bat and would love to have Kemp. Since the Dodgers have said they are willing to eat some of his deal depending on what they get in return, Walker could be included. As one of the top pitching prospects in the game, he would give the Dodger starting rotation unlimited potential.

If this were to happen, it would be an absolute blockbuster. Even though the Mets' future is built on their strong pitching, a deal like this could benefit them over the next several years. They would get the best hitting shortstop in the game, which is the major hole left in their offense. They also have enough depth to overcome the loss of Syndergaard.
