The MLB winter meetings are one of the best times of the offseason for fans. Rumors swirl and players are rumored to be dealt everywhere. With the meetings just over a week away, here is a look at seven moves the Milwaukee Brewers could make.

Last season the Brewers took Wei-Chung Wang in the Rule 5 draft, and the club remains very high on his future with the team. With the roster currently set at 39, adding a player again this season is a very real option. If they are to add a player again this season, he is expected to have more experience than Wang's limited innings a year ago.

The Brewers' current lineup is weakened greatly with both Adam Lind and Scooter Gennett awful against left-handed pitching. Without Rickie Weeks, the Brewers need to find a bat to plug in to play either first or second when a southpaw is on the hill. Some of the best free agent options include the recently designated for assignment Kyle Blanks or bringing back former Brewers Corey Hart or Rickie Weeks at a reduced price.

Having a veteran utility player is one of the biggest luxuries a roster can have. Over recent seasons the Brewers have gone with players like Jeff Bianchi and Alex Gonzalez to back up various positions. Adding a player like Emilio Bonifacio would give the Brewers a valuable bat that could be plugged in anywhere at any time.

Current Brewers closer Jonathan Broxton has not been a full-time closer since 2012. With questions surrounding whether he can get the job done, adding a reliever with closing experience could be vital. Pitchers like Jason Motte, Jim Johnson, Sergio Romo and Francisco Rodriguez are on the market, and it would not be surprising to see a veteran added to the bullpen mix.

Last season the Brewers had four lefty relievers on the roster at times. Currently, they have one in Will Smith. With Zach Duke already gone, adding someone like Phil Coke, Neil Cotts or Tom Gorzelanny would help to give the Brewers more matchup options.

The Brewers have both Kyle Lohse and Yovani Gallardo in the final seasons of their contracts. With some decent pitching depth in the organization, if the right deal is offered one of them could be moved.

Since Mark Attanasio has taken over ownership of the Brewers, the team has made moves that fans have never seen before. Adding players like Matt Garza, Aramis Ramirez and Zack Grienke were moves that were never seen made by the Brewers. As the meetings begin, history has shown that anything can happen in Milwaukee.
