The San Francisco Giants are one of four teams rumored to be seriously interested in left-handed ace Jon Lester. According to Jon Heyman of CBS Sports, the Giants met with Lester's camp on Monday, although it remains unknown if general manager Brian Sabean was able to effectively sway Lester. Giants' right-hander Tim Hudson and manager Bruce Bochy have since been dispatched to help recruit the veteran southpaw.
