The NL East is set to be the weakest division top to bottom in all of MLB this season. That doesn't mean the division race won't be interesting, though. Here's how things are likely to go based on each team's current roster.

Projected Record: 69-93

The Phillies are firmly in a rebuilding phase now, even though Jimmy Rollins is the only aging star they've been able to move so far this offseason. Whether they can get rid of their veterans or not, it's going to be a rough season in Philly.

Projected Record: 77-85

The Braves have done well to retool in order to have sustained success in the future. However, it could take a year or two for that to translate into success in the division. Until their rotation shapes up, they're just going to be an average team.

Projected Record: 84-78

With a very good young rotation and an improved lineup, the Mets should be competitive in 2015. While their core is very young and inexperienced, they could still make a run if most players stay healthy all season long.

Projected Record: 86-76

After adding pitcher Mat Latos and second baseman Dee Gordon, the Marlins are very much in the playoff race this upcoming season. They're also rumored to be pushing hard for Justin Morneau, who would make them even better. They could very well be the surprise of MLB next season.

Projected Record: 90-72

Even though they're likely to take a small step back in 2015 since they're looking to potentially trade Ian Desmond, Jordan Zimmermann and Drew Storen, the Nationals are still the best team in the division. A loss of one of those players would hurt, but they're still the most talented team in the division and should take the crown by getting hot down the stretch.
