Alex Rodriguez is the biggest villain in baseball. As expected, he was roundly booed in the New York Yankees first road game on Monday.
Check It Out: Yankees Fans Forgive A-Rod in Home Opener Through Crowd Gesture
One Baltimore Orioles fan at Camden Yards dislikes Rodriguez so much that he refuses to even watch him at the plate.

That’s some serious dedication to hating on a player. The fan in question is Tolbert Rowe. In an interview with Adam Kilgore of the Washington Post, Rowe explained why A-Rod is the only player in baseball he turns his back to.
“Because he’s the worst,” Rowe said. “He’s the epitome of all that was wrong about it. And he’s been so successful. Maybe it’s jealousy, maybe it isn’t. But I just don’t think that he deserves to be in the class with other players that have never had…and I mean, he lied about it. I’m sorry. He doesn’t deserve my respect.”
I couldn’t have said it any better myself. Could this be a trend that starts up around stadiums for all of Rodriguez’s road games?
