After a recent skid, chances are the Atlanta Braves are going to be sellers at the trade deadline as they try to rebuild for the future. With that in mind, here are five players they should considering trading in order to land young talent beyond 2015.

Jonny Gomes is a veteran leader, and while he would be far from a splash for any team that acquired him, he's been on winning teams and could bring that experience to a contender. Gomes obviously doesn't figure into the Braves' future plans, so they wouldn't hesitate to move him.

Jim Johnson has been a closer and setup man in the past, which gives him serious versatility at the back end of a bullpen. Therefore, teams will be interested in his services, likely as a setup man, come July.

3. OF Cameron Maybin

Cameron Maybin was just acquired by the Braves and since he does have considerable upside, the team may want a couple mid-level prospects for him. He has serious speed, but his hitting needs to develop further. It's up to the front office to decide whether or not he's part of their future plans.

2. RP Jason Grilli

Jason Grilli has been solid in the closer spot for the Braves this season, but he's getting up there in age, so he's not going to be there long-term. Teams are very rarely looking for a closer at the trade deadline, but a team could be very interested in making him their setup man to a shutdown closer.

Once upon a time, Chris Johnson was competing for the National League batting title. Now, he's back to being an average player, but if he shows another glimpse of his potential, his trade value will go back up. If he can do that, the Braves could easily move him for a nice package of prospects.
