The Los Angeles Dodgers are the team that should have the most rumors spread about them due to their unlimited amount of cash flow. New general manager Andrew Friedman has an endless amount of resources to build the best team possible and that's what ownership expects. Of all the rumors swirling about the Dodgers, these are the five that could have a profound impact on the team this season.

News broke last week that Dodgers pitcher Zack Greinke is likely to opt out of his contract at season's end in order to capitalize on his production while still at a relatively young age. The move would make perfect sense for Greinke, because it would allow him to get a nice shiny new contract. The Dodgers, however, would likely let Greinke walk instead of paying him another $ 140 million contract.

Corey Seager is considered to be one of the best, if not the best prospect in the Dodgers' minor league system. Seager is only 21 years old, but he is so advanced for his age that he will likely be called up at some point in 2015. The Dodgers' current shortstop is Jimmy Rollins, but he is nothing more than a placeholder for Seager. Once Seager shows he's ready at Triple-A, Rollins will likely be moved to third base.

Cuban defect Alex Guerrero has been one of the Dodgers' best hitters all season long, but that doesn't mean he's immune from being traded. Eventually the Dodgers will call Seager up and Yasiel Puig will be healthy, meaning there will be no position for Guerrero. As a result, he could very easily be the centerpiece of a blockbuster trade for Johnny Cueto or Cole Hamels.

2. Scott Kazmir A Possible Cheap Trade Option

At some point, the Dodgers will make a trade for pitching help after the loss of Brandon McCarthy and the questions surrounding Hyun-jin Ryu. It's entirely possible that they decide to go after a cheaper option, like Oakland Athletics' Scott Kazmir, or, with the Dodgers being the Dodgers, the team may trade for Kazmir and still bring in Cueto or Hamels. It must be nice to have infinite options on the table.

From everything I've heard, the Dodgers seem to prefer Johnny Cueto over Cole Hamels, because he is right-handed and the Dodgers already have a left-handed ace in Clayton Kershaw. Any trade for Cueto would likely include Alex Guerrero and a couple of the Dodgers' elite prospects. If Friedman is able to orchestrate a trade for Cueto, the Dodgers would have hands down the best pitching staff in MLB and become instant World Series favorites.
