The Houston Astros are surprisingly leading the American League West, with a 34-24 record entering Monday. For the first time in recent memory, they will be buyers between now and the trade deadline.

With the promotion of a couple more top prospects likely to bring some shuffling of the roster, here are five Astros who should be dealt before July's trade deadline.

Feldman is currently on the disabled list after right knee surgery, but he should return sometime late this month or in the first part of July. If he is able to get a couple solid outings in before the deadline, the Astros should not hesitate to move Feldman while his trade value has a chance to be good.

4. P Roberto Hernandez

Hernandez's 5.18 ERA through 11 starts this season has brought an overdue demotion to the bullpen. If he starts to pitch better in long relief, the time to trade Hernandez will come quickly.

The Astros have promoted shortstop Carlos Correa, which may push Gonzalez into a strict utility role. With the ability to play all four infield spots, Astros' general manager Jeff Luhnow may be taking calls about Gonzalez fairly soon.

2. RP Chad Qualls-Troy Taormina USAT

Qualls has value as a late-inning reliever, but when his good fortune (.264 BABIP allowed this season) corrects itself his 4.43 ERA over 22 appearances will climb. The Astros can deal Qualls from a position of strength, with multiple other right-handed bullpen options.

The Astros have solid outfield depth at their disposal, both in the big leagues and in Triple-A. On a one-year deal, with power (eight home runs this season) and ability to play all three outfield spots, Rasmus looks like Houston's top trade asset.
