As of right now, the Detroit Tigers are currently sitting in third place in the AL Central with a record of 37-35, and it would seem that they may have a tough decision or two to make prior to the July 31 trade deadline. If the Tigers decide to change course this year and become sellers, here are five players they should consider moving.

5. Rajai Davis

A free-agent-to-be-agent to be at season's end, Rajai Davis could be an attractive rental piece for a contending team. The 34-year-old Davis still has excellent speed and can play all three outfield positions. He swings a decent bat as well.

4. Joakim Soria

Acquired from the Texas Rangers last July, the Tigers picked up Joakim Soria's option early in the offseason, and he has been quite good in his first full season as a Tiger. So far, he has gone 16-for-18 in save opportunities while posting a 2.93 ERA and a 0.90 WHIP. If the Tigers decide that they are out of the race, it would hardly be shocking to see Soria's name on the trading block once again this summer.

3. Alfredo Simon

Acquired from the Cincinnati Reds over the offseason, Alfredo Simon has been quite good in his first season in Detroit, going 7-4 with a 3.29 ERA and a 1.26 WHIP. While some teams may be scared away by the second-half collapse he had with the Reds last year, he may still be an interesting under-the-radar target for a contender looking to add a starting pitcher.

2. Yoenis Cespedes

Acquired from the Boston Red Sox over the offseason, Yoenis Cespedes has been very good for the Tigers up to this point, hitting .307/.338/.504 with 10 home runs and 41 RBIs. Cespedes could certainly interest teams that are looking to add a slugger, and the Tigers also have Daniel Fields, Tyler Collins and Steven Moya who could replace him.

1. David Price

Based on everything that has been reported, the Tigers appear very interested in keeping their ace, David Price, in the Motor City beyond 2015. However, if they have doubts about their ability to retain the lefty and fall out of the race, maybe it would't be a bad idea to trade him. After all, even though he would only be a rental for the remainder of the season, dealing Price could potentially bring some quality young talent back to Detroit, which is something the team has been needing.
