Of course, rumors involving the New York Mets rarely come to an end, so even before things start to pick up, there is plenty going on in Mets-land. Troy Tulowitzki — This is the rumor that won't die, mainly because there's a contingent of Mets fans that won't stop clamoring for Tulowitzki to be traded to New York. With the Rockies in last place, there's a chance they look to trade Tulowitzki, and with the Mets' stockpile of young pitchers, they are still the best match with Colorado in a potential trade. Of course, that doesn't mean anything is going to happen; in fact, it probably won't.

After getting hot when he first started playing every day, Tejada has gone ice cold as of late, and if it continues there are whispers that Reynolds may get a call up to play shortstop. Reynolds has been frustrated at not getting promoted to the majors yet, but he may soon get his chance.
