With the All-Star Game behind us, the trade market should start to heat up with just two weeks left until the MLB trade deadline. The Los Angeles Dodgers figure to be one of the most active teams on the trade market; despite one of the best records in baseball, they are hoping to avoid another disappointing postseason. Here are the five biggest rumors involving the Dodgers as we head towards the trade deadline.

How much validity this rumor has remains to be seen, but this is the latest gossip to hit the circuit. Both fanbases would likely oppose such a trade, but this deal would get rid of the increasingly frequent headaches that Puig causes while also giving the Dodgers the frontline starter they covet. Theoretically, this trade makes sense for both teams, but time will tell if this rumor has legs or not.

Rollins is not having the kind of season the Dodgers hoped to get when they acquired him this offseason which has created speculation that he could be moved at the deadline. Top prospect Corey Seager is putting together a nice season, and if the Dodgers want to take a chance, they can trade Rollins and bring up Seager for the rest of the season. The Minnesota Twins have expressed interest in the aging shortstop.

The Dodgers are looking for a frontline starting pitcher, but if they can't get one, they have plenty of fallback options lined up. Jon Niese of the Mets has been linked to the Dodgers in rumors as a pitcher of interest, while Los Angeles has also been linked to pitchers like Jeff Samardzija, Mike Leake and others. If the Dodgers can't land one of their top targets, expect one of these guys to be in Los Angeles before the deadline.

Cueto appears to be one of the Dodgers' top targets. He's in the midst of a fantastic 2015 and will be a free agent after the season, making him a rental player that Los Angeles thinks they can acquire without giving up their top prospects. However, the Dodgers aren't the only team with interest in Cueto, as Houston is reportedly ready to make a strong push for him. This could create a bidding war that drives the price up.

The Phillies are driving a hard bargain for Hamels, as they should for a pitcher with playoff experience who's under contract for three more years. The Dodgers have the prospects to make a deal, but they seem unwilling to include Seager or Julio Urias. Without those two included, it could take four or five other quality prospects to get Hamels to Los Angeles. That may be more than the Dodgers want to pay with other options available to them.
