However, the team's recent performance suggests that changes must be made in order for the Orioles to contend. Baltimore's corner outfield spots have been a revolving door all season, and making a trade could solve this issue. The Orioles should acquire one of these five outfielders at the trade deadline. 5. Josh Reddick Getty Images 5. Josh Reddick Getty Images Reddick is enjoying a successful season with the Oakland Athletics due to an improved and disciplined approach at the plate. He's batting .284 with 11 home runs, 51 RBIs and only 36 strikeouts this year. If the A's continue to slide out of the AL West division race then they may be compelled to trade Reddick, who will become a free agent next season. 4. Ben Revere Getty Images Advertisement 4. Ben Revere Getty Images The Orioles' offense has relied on the home run this season, which can be both a blessing and a curse. Baltimore is fourth in the American League with 110 long balls, but is 14th in the AL with only 27 stolen bases. Though Revere only has one home run this season, he's batting .297 with 21 steals this year. He'd be a perfect leadoff hitter for the Orioles, providing Baltimore with a more balanced and less one-dimensional offense. 3. Gerardo Parra Getty Images 3. Gerardo Parra Getty Images The 28-year-old Parra is having a career year in 2015, batting .311 with nine home runs, 30 RBIs and six stolen bases for the Milwaukee Brewers. He's also a superb defender, with a career fielding percentage of .982 and two Gold Gloves on his resume. Parra would be another nice addition to the top of the Orioles' lineup, and he might not require a lofty price. 2. Charlie Blackmon Getty Images 2. Charlie Blackmon Getty Images Blackmon emerged as an All-Star performer last season with the Colorado Rockies, and has continued that success into this year. He's batting .292 with 12 home runs, 41 RBIs this season with Colorado, a team that appears to be sellers at the trade deadline. Blackmon also has 24 steals, which is third in the National League. The Orioles would have to give up some young and talented pitchers in order to acquire him, but it might be worth a shot. 1. Justin Upton Gettty Images 1. Justin Upton Getty Images Upton will be one of the most sought after players on the trade market, but the Orioles should attempt to acquire the All-Star outfielder. He's batting .254 with 15 home runs, 49 RBIs and 17 steals for the San Diego Padres this season. It all depends on what Baltimore would be willing to give up for Upton. Having a 1-2-3-4 punch of Machado-Upton-Jones-Davis would certainly push the Orioles into contention for the AL East title.
