Ranking: 12
The tall lefty will be up with the Rays at some point this season, but they will hold off until they need reinforcements in the rotation. Until then, he will work in the minor leagues.

Ranking: 16
Brinson is a multi-talented outfielder, but there's not much space for him in Arlington right now. Once the Rangers can ensure he will get regular playing time, he will be up with the big-league squad.

Reed is one of many talented young Astros hitters, but he needs a couple more months in the minor leagues. His potential call-up could provide a boost for Houston around midseason.

7. OF Austin Meadows - Pittsburgh Pirates

Ranking: 22
Meadows would add to a group that is already baseball's most talented outfield. Pittsburgh has a good problem; they have too much depth. However, they should continue getting Meadows regular playing time in the minors for now.

6. RHP Jose De Leon - Los Angeles Dodgers

Ranking: 23
De Leon is one of a number of talented arms in the Dodgers' system, and he's right on the cusp. With more pitching depth this season, L.A. will likely hold off on calling him up for a couple months, though.

5. SS Dansby Swanson - Atlanta Braves

Ranking: 17
This comes as no surprise as Swanson was just drafted last season. It will take him a couple years to reach the pros, and once he does, he will be playing for his hometown Atlanta Braves.

4. SS Orlando Arcia - Milwaukee Brewers

Ranking: 8
Arcia is the Brewers' top prospect, and they showed how much confidence they have in him when they traded Jean Segura. Since they're not expecting to compete, though, there's no rush to get Arcia to the bigs.

3. RHP Lucas Giolito - Washington Nationals

Ranking: 5
If he impresses this spring, there's a chance Giolito could break camp with Washington. More likely, though, is that the Nationals call him up in a couple months and preserve his arm in the minor leagues early on.

2. LHP Julio Urias - Los Angeles Dodgers

Ranking: 4
Urias has great stuff, but he's still a little rough around the edges. Soon, he will be a key to the Dodgers' rotation, but that time hasn't come quite yet. It will by the end of the season, though.

1. SS J.P. Crawford - Philadelphia Phillies

Ranking: 6
Crawford has the chance to be a superstar very soon. He could have a similar impact on the Phillies as Francisco Lindor had on the Indians last year. The shortstop could also be called up at a similar time, around mid-June.
