Josh Donaldson had one of the more interesting seasons amongst players in 2015. His year started in the offseason with a trade from the Oakland Athletics to the Toronto Blue Jays. I can’t stress enough how different the two cities are, as well as the teams. Donaldson somehow turned that around into one of the best seasons to have ever been had in a Blue Jays uniform, eventually winning the 2015 AL MVP. Donaldson now looks like a key part of the Blue Jays’ future, while the A’s have to deal with the fact that they traded the best third baseman in baseball. These are the reasons why Donaldson is the best third baseman going into the 2016 season.
