Hazing in sports sometimes takes a violent turn to the point of physical harm. At the pro level hazing often involves making a rookie carry bags or leaving them with a big dinner tab. With their prank over the weekend, the Houston Astros turned things up a notch.
Looks like we have some #Astros shenanigans on a Saturday. Word is the car belongs to Tyler White. Rookie hazing… pic.twitter.com/rvzmjgJzBd

Allyson Footer of MLB.com reported that Astros outfielder Carlos Gomez hit the roof of White’s SUV during batting practice on Saturday. White was surely not pleased with that, but if there’s any serious damage hopefully Gomez will foot the bill.
This prank will not be repeated, but White will surely make sure he finds a more discreet spot for his valuables in the future.
