It may be hard to believe, but the month of June will be coming to a close in just one week’s time. Here are five Detroit Tigers who have been having standout performances so far this month.

Justin Wilson — After going through a few struggles in May, Justin Wilson has bounced back to post a 2.35 ERA so far in the month of June. He has been a steady force in what has been a shaky Tigers bullpen at times.

James McCann — After batting a mere .154 in the month of May, James McCann is hitting .286 with three homers so far in June. He is beginning to look more like the solid hitter that he was a season ago.

Jose Iglesias — After batting a mere .160 in May, Jose Iglesias is hitting .356 so far in the month of June. Iglesias hit an even .300 through 120 games last season, so many expected that it would only be a matter of time before his bat perked up.

Justin Upton — After struggling mightily over the first two months of the season, Justin Upton is hitting .275 with five homers in June. Upton has an impressive track record, and the fact that the homers are finally starting to come is a great sign for Detroit.

Michael Fulmer — Through five starts this month, Michael Fulmer is 3-1 with an 0.61 ERA. The 23-year-old righty continues to be extremely impressive to say the very least.
