The Cleveland Indians are the hottest team in baseball, which has allowed them to take complete control over the AL Central in a division that not long ago looked like a competitive, four-team race. The recent hot streak, which has been led by an outstanding starting rotation, means that Cleveland will be well represented at this year’s All-Star Game. Here are five Indians who have made a strong case for inclusion on the American League All-Star Team.
5. Josh Tomlin

Tomlin may be the best pitcher in baseball who no one outside of Cleveland knows. He was great the last two months of 2015 and has continued to pitch at a high level this season, winning nine of his 14 starts.
4. Trevor Bauer

After a rough start to the season pitching out of the bullpen, Bauer is coming into his own as a member of Cleveland's starting rotation. As a starter, Bauer has a 2.96 ERA and looks to be in the midst of a true breakout season.
3. Carlos Carrasco

Carrasco missed all of May, but when he's been healthy and in the rotation he's looked like a potential All-Star. With a 2.73 ERA and a complete game shutout against the Tigers in his most recent start, Carrasco deserves All-Star consideration.
2. Francisco Lindor

Lindor is showing everyone that his rookie season was no fluke. There has been no signs of a sophomore slump from Lindor, who has only gotten better since last year and is proving to be one of the top shortstops in the American League this season.

Even in Cleveland's outstanding rotation, Salazar has stood out as the unquestioned ace. He's performing even better than he did last year, and with a 2.40 ERA and 99 strikeouts in 86.1 innings, Salazar is absolutely an All-Star in 2016.
