Mets' Tim Tebow Gets Owned By AL Cy Young Winner Rick Porcello In First Spring Training Game

By RanterX

The New York Mets inserted Tim Tebow into their lineup as the designated hitter against reigning AL Cy Young winner Rick Porcello and the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday, and things went exactly as you imagined they would.

Tebow, 29, went 0-3 with two strikeouts for the day. However, he did make it on base after getting hit by a pitch.

Tebow did put the ball in play on one occasion with the bases loaded, but unfortunately grounded into a double play.
