Chicago Cubs RHP Jake Arrieta Crushes 465-Foot Home Run in First Spring Training At-Bat

By Anthony Blake

After breaking their 108-year World Series drought last fall, the Chicago Cubs may be poised for a repeat if they can continue to get instant offense like this from their ace Jake Arrieta.

Just check out the 465-foot bomb he cracked off of Zack Greinke in his first at-bat of Spring Training.

That’s some kind of power at the plate for a pitcher who’s paid to strike guys out rather than show off his muscle with the lumber.

Maybe this entire Cubs team will be an offensive juggernaut in 2017.
