When you’re selected in the 33rd round of the 2011 draft with the 1,021st overall pick, the odds of ever making a MLB roster are infinitesimal.
But Brock Stassi never gave up on his dream, and the Philadelphia Phillies gave him the good news recently.

After hitting .333 with six home runs in 57 at-bats for the Phillies during spring training, Stassi earned his spot on the squad.
This offseason substitute teacher may have to give up the lesson-planning for good now.
