Swarm Of Savage Bees Invades MLB Spring Training Game — Players Hit The Deck

By Timothy Downs

A swarm of savage bees interrupted action between the Colorado Rockies and San Diego Padres in Arizona on Thursday.

MLB players already have a difficult enough job trying to consistently hit a baseball, and ain’t got no time to deal with insects who want nothing more than to sting them in the buttocks.

Thus, the players and umpires alike immediately hit the deck until the bees finally ventured away from the diamond.

Thankfully, play resumed after about a minute, and the Rockies went on to secure a 10-5 win over the Padres.
