Mariners RF Mitch Haniger Hits Second Base (Literally) With Overly Accurate Throw

Complaining about someone being too accurate is kind of like whining about having too much money – it just doesn’t make sense.

Well, for Seattle Mariners right fielder Mitch Haniger, he actually was too accurate with this throw to second base that literally struck the bag itself.

When your throw is TOO on target.

This throw cost the Mariners another run and a runner advancing into scoring position, as the Oakland Athletics capitalized on their pinpoint accuracy.

That whole phrase just doesn’t sound right!
