Astros' Carlos Correa Swats Away Tag of Indians' Francisco Lindor at Second Base

By Anthony Blake

The youth movement in MLB has breathed some life back into the game, and two guys at the center of it are Houston Astros shortstop Carlos Correra and Cleveland Indians shortstop Francisco Lindor.

At 22 and 23 years of age, respectively, these two are exactly what an old man’s game like baseball needs to appeal to the next generation of fans.

And they showed as much with this playful exchange at second base.

@lindor12bc and @teamcjcorrea know how to have a good time out there.

While actually swatting a tag away with intent would be frowned upon in terms of baseball etiquette, doing so in jest as Correa did only played to the crowd a bit.

And Lindor merely added to the exchange by casually shoving Correa and nudging him off the bag in an attempt to get him out.

Well done, gentlemen.
