Yankees' Aaron Judge Smashes Home Run — Makes Incredible Catch In Fenway Park Debut

By Timothy Downs

After years of having their roster bogged down with aging veterans making boatloads of cheddar, the New York Yankees have a youth movement underway in the Bronx.

Guys like Gary Sanchez and Greg Bird garnered most of the attention around Yankees camp heading into the 2017 MLB season. However, another potential star, outfielder Aaron Judge, is finally beginning to make a name for himself nationally.

On Wednesday against the Boston Red Sox, Judge not only clobbered an opposite field dinger, but also made an absolutely phenomenal catch in his Fenway Park debut.

And it just so happened to be his 25th birthday.

Judge is now hitting .281 with 7 HR and 15 RBI in his first 18 games. Yankees third baseman Chase Headley recently told reporters he believes Judge is strong enough to hit a 550-foot home run one day.

Don’t be surprised if he blossoms into one of MLB’s premier sluggers over the next few seasons…
