Miami Marlins' Marcell Ozuna Blasts 468-Foot Homer that Hits Banner at Tropicana Field

By Anthony Blake

There’s plenty of power in the Miami Marlins‘ starting lineup, and fans at Tropicana Field to watch them take on the Tampa Bay Rays got to see that up close and personal with Marcell Ozuna blasting a monster home run.

This 468-foot bomb got so high and traveled so far that it actually struck a banner in the outfield rafters.

Aim for the back wall, right? 😱

That 2011 Wild Card team will never be looked at the same way after being hit by a baseball.

MLB Statcast measured the exit velocity of this bomb at 112.2 MPH and the launch angle at 31 degrees.

So if you needed confirmation, yeah, he totally crushed it.
