Minnesota Twins' Miguel Sano Clobbers 466-Foot Home Run That Hits Fan Directly In The Face

By Timothy Downs

More often than not, Minnesota Twins players fly under the radar of most MLB fans, as the franchise simply doesn’t have much of a national profile.

This is undoubtedly the case for Miguel Sano, who truly has a chance to become one of baseball’s premier offensive juggernauts.

On Tuesday, Sano clobbered his 8th home run off the season off Oakland A’s pitcher Sonny Gray. The ball traveled an estimated 466-feet, and unfortunately nailed a woman who was dining at a Target Field restaurant directly in the face.

Thankfully, Twins communications director Dustin Morse reported the organization had been in touch with the woman, and found out she didn’t suffer any serious injuries.

Sano, 23, sent condolences, and told reporters he got jammed on the pitch, which is a scary thought.

We’re. Not. Worthy.
