On Tuesday night, Boston Red Sox pitcher Chris Sale was warned for throwing a fastball behind Baltimore Orioles third baseman Manny Machado.

On Wednesday night, umpire Sam Holbrook ejected Orioles pitcher Kevin Gausman for hitting Red Sox shortstop Xander Bogaerts with a 77 mph slider.
