Washington Nationals Pitcher Stephen Strasburg Cranks First Homer of Season Well Over 400 Feet

By Jason Fletcher

Stephen Strasburg is in his eighth MLB season and was hitting .151 with only one home run in 278 career at-bats entering Friday night.

That all changed in the second inning when Strasburg connected with a 94-mph Nick Pivetta.

The homer certainly wasn’t a cheap one either.
