Houston Astros SS Carlos Correa Makes Backwards, Off-Balance Catch Look Simple

This MLB season has been an absolute highlight reel of Carlos Correa and his Gold Glove ability at shortstop already.

But the Houston Astros star continues to one-up himself, as he did again on Saturday night with this spectacular catch.

Infielders are used to playing the ball right in front of them, so Correa’s ability to track this ball down and make the off-balance catch with teammate Jose Altuve alongside is something magical.

This kid’s got a bit of wizardry in him circa Ozzie Smith, and that legacy will only build with more plays like this on his resume.
