Colorado Rockies Prospect Strikes Out on Pitch That Hit the Ground 40 Feet Away

By Jason Fletcher

New York Mets prospect, and Binghamton Rumble Ponies pitcher, Cory Burns, had a pitch slip out of his hand and barely make it 20 feet.

Jokingly, Hartford Yard Goats, and Colorado Rockies prospect, Josh Fuentes, gave a half-hearted swing at the ball.

The umpire called it a swinging strikeout and the inning was over.
