Corey Dickerson Incredibly Gets Cricket-Style Base Hit Off Pitch Bouncing Before Home Plate

There’s something to be said for having a good eye at the plate, but it’s actually more important to be skilled at making an adjustment mid-swing to get a base knock.

Just ask Tampa Bay Rays outfielder Corey Dickerson, who took a huge cut at this pitch that bounced before home plate and got a hit anyway.

With a .400 average over the last seven days and an American League-leading .345 mark on the season, it’s easy to see how Dickerson made contact with this pitch.

He’s in the zone, and it should lead to his first ever MLB All-Star selection in 2017.
