Orioles' Adam Jones Reaches Over the Wall to Rob Rangers' Joey Gallo HR

By Anthony Blake

Catches of would-be home runs seem to be a dime a dozen in MLB these days, but rarely are they a work of art like this piece of fielding by Baltimore Orioles outfielder Adam Jones.

After Texas Rangers left fielder Joey Gallo crushed a ball to deep center field, Jones got in position and waited for the ball to begin its descent.

It’s simple for @simplyaj10. Rob a homer, strike a pose.

A perfectly-timed jump and reach of his glove over the wall brought a ball back into play as an out instead of a homer.

And it produced an absolutely stunning still shot of the robbery in progress.
