Diamondbacks Mascot Cheers Dodgers' Yasiel Puig for Home Run-Robbing Catch

Sometimes you just have to give credit where credit is due, and the Arizona Diamondbacks mascot did just that for Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Yasiel Puig on Tuesday night.

Trade deadline acquisition JD Martinez hit a long drive to right field that was destined to land over the fence, but Puig and his trusty glove had other ideas.

The D-Backs mascot just couldn’t contain his excitement, even for the opposing team.

And this only provides further evidence to the uselessness of mascots.
