Phillies Rookie Rhys Hopkins Becomes First Player Since 1913 to Hit 9 Home Runs in First 16 Career Games

On Friday night, Philadelphia Phillies rookie Rhys Hopkins played in his 13th career MLB game as he started in left field.

In the bottom of the first inning, Hopkins jacked his ninth home run in those 13 games.

Rhys is now the first player since 1913 to hit nine or more home runs in his first 13 career games.
