Giancarlo Stanton Obliterates Home Run No. 52 in Marlins' 10-9 Win

By Anthony Blake

After taking some time to get sexified in a music video, Miami Marlins slugger Giancarlo Stanton got back to his baseball-clobbering ways on Saturday night with his 52nd home run of the MLB season.

This one was never in doubt, with the hideous statue in center field being in his cross-hairs for a moment.

It’s your world, @Giancarlo818. We’re just living in it.

With 27 games remaining, Stanton has a realistic shot at reaching the 60-homer plateau and having a run for the ages in the season’s second-half.

As his Marlins make a final push for a playoff spot, there’s no doubt Stanton’s bat will play pivotal role in whether or not that goal is reached.
