New York Mets' David Wright To Undergo Season-Ending Shoulder Surgery

By RantSports Staff

New York Mets third baseman David Wright has only played a total of 75 games since the end of the 2014 MLB season.

Many Mets fans were hoping Wright, who hasn’t played a single game this season, would be able to make his triumphant return in September, but that is no longer going to happen.

On Monday, it was announced Wright will undergo season-ending shoulder surgery.
