Detroit Tigers Turn Lightning Fast 5-4-3 Triple Play vs. Kansas City Royals

The triple play is a rarity in MLB that always looks gorgeous when pulled off during the course of a game, but the Detroit Tigers upped the ante on Friday night.

The 5-4-3 triple play they executed against the Kansas City Royals was a thing of beauty.

From the diving stab at third by Jeimer Candelario and throw from Ian Kinsler at second to the stretch for the final out at first by Efren Navarro, this was flawless from start to finish.

These three Tigers helped the franchise earn its first triple play in 16 years, over 2,500 games.
