Nostalgia: Josh Koscheck really will fight anyone (except teammates, of course)
Josh Koscheck is a pretty useful guy for the UFC to have. Sure, he and his teammates at American Kickboxing Academy might muddle up title chases by refusing to fight each other, but let’s consider a few other things:
Need someone to fight Thiago Alves on 2 weeks notice? Call Josh Koscheck. Need someone to fight twice in less than 2 months? Call Josh Koscheck. Need someone to promote a fight by being a villain? Call Josh Koscheck.
Koscheck will happily fight anyone who shows up at the AKA gym and signs a waiver. If you think he’s joking, he really isn’t. Back before he was scheduled to fight Diego Sanchez, Koscheck took on a persistent fan at the AKA gym, and gave an account to MMAJunkie during an interview.
