Videos: Eddie Alvarez vs Michael Chandler, plus Vladimir Putin

Lost in the hoopla of Dan Henderson and Mauricio Rua putting on an epic show on Saturday night was the fact that Eddie Alvarez and Michael Chandler put on a great fight at the Bellator event.  Like Henderson-Rua, this was a back and forth affair with heavy shots being landed by both fighters.  Unlike Henderson-Rua, Alvarez-Chandler ended with a finish.  Bellator has posted the full fight video online for everyone’s viewing pleasure (and also to help lobby for Fight of the Year):

Additionally, Fedor Emelianenko was in action against Jeff Monson this weekend at an M-1 Global event.  The end of that fight sparked an appearance from Prime Dictator of Russia, Vladimir Putin.  Surprisingly, Putin received quite a few boos from the audience:
