The UFC’s contract with Fox officially gets rolling tonight, with Jim Miller facing Melvin Guillard in the main event on FX.  Here’s a look at the current betting lines:

Odds from BetUS Sportsbook.  Accurate as of 0615 January 20, 2012

Jim Miller (-260) vs Melvin Guillard (+200)
Pick: Miller
Miller’s striking is good enough, his wrestling is good enough, and his ground game is great to hang with Guillard.  Guillard is a good wrestler but actually gets taken down quite a bit.

Duane Ludwig (-115) vs Josh Neer (-115)
Pick: Neer
Neer takes Ludwig down and grinds it out.  Ludwig is a top striker, but he does not have the other aspects of the game to win many fights.

Mike Easton (-350) vs Jared Papazian (+250)
Pick: Easton
Easton is just better.  He’s also got more experience and trains at a better camp.

Pat Barry (-190) vs Christian Morecraft (+155)
Pick: Barry
Barry’s got the speed advantage and after his recent performances will put in a strong effort to save his job.  It’s unknown if Morecraft has much of a shot at getting things to the ground, which is basically his only way to win.

Eric Schaefer (-160) vs Jorge Rivera (+130)
Pick: Rivera
Rivera has the ability to keep this standing and beat up Schaefer for a win.

Kamal Shalorus (-130) vs Khabib Nurmagomedov (+100)
Pick: Shalorus
Shalorus is the known commodity with excellent wrestling.  His striking isn’t great, but he has power and durability.

Charlie Brenneman (-300) vs Daniel Roberts (+220)
Pick: Brenneman
Brenneman is just better.  His losses are to guys like Anthony Johnson and Johny Hendricks.

Fabricio Camoes (-350) vs Tommy Hayden (+250)
Pick: Camoes
Camoes gets a fight he should win in his re-entry to the UFC.

Daniel Pineda (-115) vs Pat Schilling (-115)
Pick: Pineda
Schilling is kinda like Jason Reinhardt.  He’s also never gone past round 1.

Nick Denis (-240) vs Joseph Sandoval (+190)
Pick: Denis
Denis is a great prospect for the UFC to have.  He’s a great Kyokushin guy who can also win by slamming his opponents.
