UFC 150 Surely Won’t Disappoint

UFC 149, by all accounts, was a boring card.

Dana White apologized for it’s inadequacies, specifically about over hyped middleweight challenger, Hector Lombard.

“This is one of those things. [Lombard] was on a 25-fight win streak, a lot of hype behind him, people have been talking about him forever. Guys that fight in other organizations end up in top 10 rankings, but it’s a whole ‘nother world over here….”

Urijah Faber was not good enough to defeat Renan Barao.

While the main event had its moments, it certainly wasn’t a memorable bout. It was not a dull fight but it won’t bring on mentions of a rematch from a wide array of fans. If I described UFC 149 in one word, it would be: meh.

It’s time to bring on UFC 150.

Frankie Edgar will face Ben Henderson in a grudge match that meets the compelling threshold. The first bout certainly did.

Sure, there is Shogun vs Vera is stuffed between, but UFC 150′s main event has fans salivating.

The lightweight title is up for grabs. It’s the most talent-laden division in the UFC. The official video is finally here.
