UFC News: Jon Jones Apologizes To The Fighters And Fans
Rant Sports MMA

It has taken a bit longer then expected but UFC champion Jon “Bones” Jones has apologized to the fans and fighters of the UFC. Below is what Jon Jones had to say on his Twitter account.

“Carrying the cross for my company’s decision. If someone has to take the blame, I will accept full responsibility for the way UFC 151 was canceled. I want to sincerely apologize to all the other athletes/fans who’s time and money was waisted. I feel terrible about the way that was handled.

To check out the tweets for yourself go to twitter.com/JonnyBones. It appears as if Jones feels bad about the decision he made and will take full responsibility for the cancellation of UFC 151.In which he should, he has cost the UFC millions in advertising expenses and has ruined the plans of fellow fighters that were scheduled to appear on the card. Not to mention it has really hurt the UFC’s reputation. It was the first time in UFC history that they have had to cancel a pay per view event.

The UFC will be offering refunds to all ticket holders. It still won’t make up for the fact that many people have paid for hotels,flights,etc.. Which many of those cannot be refunded. Jones definitely owes the UFC some good fights in the future.
