The Facebook prelims for UFC on Fuel TV 5 start off with a great featherweight bout between Jason Young and Robbie Peralta.  Both of these fighters are coming off wins in the UFC, which should make their bout all the more meaningful.  Robbie Peralta has the power advantage in this fight, and he will use it and press the action against Jason Young.  Final prediction: Robbie Peralta wins via TKO in the first round.

DaMarques Johnson will be taking on Gunnar Nelson at a catch weight.  DaMarques comes into this fight with an experience advantage, which will benefit him late in the rounds.  This will be Nelson’s UFC debut and it will be Johnson’s power and striking attack that wins him the fight.  Final prediction: DaMarques Johnson wins via unanimous decision.

An exciting middleweight fight takes place between Brad Tavares and Tom Watson.  Brad Tavares possess the striking advantage in this bout, and he will use it to pick apart Watson on the feet.  Final prediction: Brad Tavares wins via TKO in the first round.

TUF vet Andy Ogle will be taking on Akira Corassani in what should be an exciting bout in the featherweight division.  Ogle comes into this fight with the power advantage over Corassani and he is on a seven fight win streak.  He will use this momentum and keep Corassani at bay with his hooks and stiff jabs.  Final prediction: Andy Ogle wins via TKO in the second round.

A light heavyweight bout takes place between AKA’s own Kyle Kingsburry and Jimi Manuwa.  Kingsburry will be trying to rebound off a devastating submission loss to Glover Teixeira early in the year.  Kingsburry possesses the striking advantage in this fight, and he also has the capabilities to take this fight to the ground.  He has more ways to win this fight, which will allow him to grind out a decision.  Final prediction: Kyle Kingsbury wins via unanimous decision.
