Luke Rockhold Responds to Michael Bisping: ‘I’ll see you in the UFC’

Luke Rockhold UFC

Scott Olmos-US Presswire

Michael Bisping has never been shy to speak his mind.  When he feel likes he is the better man, he will be vocal.  This was this case when Bisping was on MMA Uncensored on Spike TV.  During the episode, Bisping claimed he got the better of the exchanges when he trained with current Strikeforce middleweight champion Luke Rockhold.

Luke would respond via Twitter earlier today to Bisping’s comments.

@bisping that’s an interesting take, I’ll see you in the UFC soon my friend.

Interesting words from Rockhold, who recently had to bow out of the final Strikeforce card where he was set to take on Lorenz Larken.  Bisping has never shied away from controversy, and it would appear that these two have no problems facing each other, despite training with each other several times in the past.

Rockhold, who trains out of American Kickboxing Academy, will be heading to the UFC after Strikeforce closes up shop. A potential clash from these two fighters would be entertaining in that they both love to keep the fight standing.  Who would get the better of the exchanges in a real fight?

We just may find out.  Bisping is set to take on Vitor Belfort, who is one of the most powerful punchers in the division.  If Bisping is victorious, then a Rockhold fight is appropriate since Anderson Silva has made it clear he wants either GSP or Jon Jones for his next fights.  Bisping has yet to respond to Rockhold, but it will be interesting to see what type of twitter war ensues.

Dana White Doesn’t Think Conor McGregor Can Beat Rafael dos Anjos

Things are getting interesting ahead of UFC 196. The headlining fight at that March 5 pay-per-view event will see UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor move up to lightweight to face the champion of that division Rafael dos Anjos. If McGregor succeeds he will become the first UFC fighter to hold belts in two different divisions simultaneously. The oddsmakers have McGregor as the favorite ahead of the fight. UFC president Dana White doesn’t necessarily hold the same opinion.

Ronda Rousey’s Mom Predicted Holly Holm Would Knock Her Out

Dr. AnnMaria De Mars is the first woman ever to win a gold medal at the World Judo Championship doing so in 1984. She is also the mother of former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey. Further she may be the most vocal critic of Rousey’s coach Edmond Tarverdyan. Appearing on Submission Radio De Mars once again spoke out on Tarverdyan commenting on Rousey’s loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193. “I predicted it in advance Ronda trained with an idiot and a fraud” said De Mars.
