The beef between Hector Lombard and Michael Bisping seems to be growing. In interviews in the past, Michael Bisping has said that Lombard is a poison dwarf, which Lombard didn’t appreciate. Lombard would respond in an interview with Ariel Helwani on The MMA Hour, referring to an interaction he had with Bisping in an elevator.
“I squeezed his hand and I’m sure he was in pain a little bit after that, he started talking about me, you know? About how short I am. But one thing you can be 100 percent sure about, is he has the smallest hands ever, like a little girls hands.”
Lombard is coming off an impressive TKO victory over Rousimar Palhares, and it looks like he has his sights set on Bisping for his next UFC fight. Bisping, who is set to take on Vitor Belfort, has yet to respond to Lombard’s comments.
Both fighters are never shy to speak their mind, making their potential match up all the more intriguing. It will be interesting to see what type of interaction these fighters have if they ever meet each other outside the cage again.
For Bisping, his sights are locked on Vitor Belfort. He has his hands full, and a win could grant him a UFC middleweight title shot if he is victorious. For Lombard, he is without an opponent, but 2013 should be a big year for him if he can keep up his winning ways. Be sure to stay tuned to see what Bisping’s response is. It should be entertaining to say the least!
