5 Totally Mean Quotes From UFC President Dana White
5 Totally Mean Things UFC President Dana White Said
UFC President Dana White is a brilliant businessman. He's part genius, part lucky, and indisputably rich. Love him or hate him, he cracked the puzzle of MMA and turned the sport into a world class juggernaut loved by millions around the world. White took the UFC and MMA into the mainstream and now the sport is likely forever rooted in our popular culture.
That's the good news. The bad news is that White is a jerk. At least, he can be. He is capable of hurting people around him. It's not a good idea to cross him. And if you betray him, look out. You are dead to him.
White is brutally honest in everything that he does. You can act that way when you are sitting on what's probably a billion-dollar gold mine. If he doesn't like you, he will tell you. It doesn't matter who you are.
White has feuded with everyone from fighters to his mother. From referees to rival promoters. From reporters to trainers. No one is safe around White. So even though White deserves most of the credit for transforming the sport, he also deserves most of the blame for any of the bad feelings people, unions, and the media have toward the UFC.
Sometimes he's just mean and he says the wrong things at the wrong time. It's OK for White to treat people that way now because he's on top. But someday, should he ever fall from his throne, some of his loudmouthed comments might come back to haunt him. Or not. He might just run the UFC for the next 15 years and then retire as the billionaire who saved the sport. Nobody knows his fate. But we do know you do want him on your side. If not, you could be the recipient of comments like the ones featured in the following slides.

A 102-year-old guy just said that to him."
