UFC Fight For The Troops 3 event just got a little deeper, as the UFC has booked a women’s bantamweight fight between Amanda Nunes and Germaine de Randamie. Both of these fighters have a chance to move up the division in hopes of a title shot, where Ronda Rousey is currently the champion. This bout was confirmed by the UFC on their Twitter page:

“New bout: Germaine de Randamie @IronLadyMMA and @Amanda_Leoa Nunes go head-to-head at #FFTT November 6″

Both fighters have the chance to quickly jump up the rankings, and they will be looking to make an impression for the veteran crowd. Nunes comes into this bout off an impressive TKO win over Sheila Gaff back at UFC 163. In the bout, Nunes was able to display her brutal ground and pound skills, and it couldn’t have come at a better time, as this was her UFC debut.

Randamie comes into this pivotal bout also off an important win over Julie Kedzie. It was a split decision win, but a win nonetheless, and it was also Randamie’s UFC debut. Germaine is relatively new to the sport of MMA, but she has still shown to be a capable fighter. She will be looking to defeat Nunes, which would be one of her biggest wins over her career.

Currently, Miesha Tate and Ronda Rousey are set to square off for the second time for the bantamweight championship, but the winner of the Nunes vs. Randamie bout could very well be next in line for a title shot, making their bout all the more important.
