UFC middleweight Tim Kennedy has been doing everything in his power to get an opponent after his original foe, Lyoto Machida, was removed from his bout and inserted to fight Mark Munoz. All of this came to fruition because of an injury that forced Michael Bisping out of his bout with Munoz..

Kennedy is never one to shy away from exchanging words on Twitter, and he is using this platform in hopes of stirring some things up to get a fight booked, calling out the likes of Alistair Overeem, Mauricio Rua, and Rich Franklin in a series of tweets that sound, if nothing else, humorously entertaining.

Aside from the hilarity of these tweets, it’s truly unfortunate for Kennedy, who is trying everything he can to get a fight lined up after circumstances beyond his control left him without a viable opponent. There aren’t a lot of options right now for him, as most of the top middleweights already have opponents booked.

Kennedy made his UFC debut a couple of months ago, when he was able to stifle the grappling wizard Roger Gracie in a lopsided match that showcased why they call the sport mixed martial arts and not BJJ grappling competition. It was a much-needed win and it moved him up the middleweight rankings.

Hopefully Kennedy can get an opponent booked for the next Fight For The Troops 3 card. Maybe a potential bout with Wanderlei Silva makes the most since right now, because Silva is also currently without an opponent, and he would put on an exciting war with Kennedy.
